Squirrels

Squirrels are the newest section of our Scouting family, for young people aged 4 to 6. They meet in small groups called dreys, usually once a week for about an hour during term time.

Squirrels learn through play: games, crafts, stories, being outdoors and trying new things, all at a pace that suits young children.

Along the way they earn their first badges, make friends and start building skills for life, with the support of our trained leaders.

Not every group in the district has a Squirrel drey yet. Use the Group Finder or Apply for a Place and we will let you know where there is space.
